Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2026
Welcome to Tea Party Girls Club. These Terms of Service explain how Tea Party Girls Club Membership works, what you can expect from us, and what we ask of you when using our website or becoming a member.
By using our website, purchasing a membership, or participating in Tea Party Girls Club Membership, you agree to these Terms of Service.
Who We Are
Tea Party Girls Club Membership is our monthly snail mail club created to connect women through letters, tea, and a shared monthly experience.
Tea Party Girls Club Membership
Tea Party Girls Club Membership is a recurring monthly subscription.
Each monthly mailing generally includes:
- A letter written by a woman in the Tea Party Girls Club community
- A tea to brew while you read
- A collectible Tea Party Girls Club recipe card
The specific letter, tea, recipe, design, packaging, and other details may vary from month to month.
Pricing and Billing
Membership prices are displayed on our website in U.S. dollars.
Your payment method is charged when you first join. After your initial purchase, your membership automatically renews monthly on the same date you originally joined.
For example, if you join on September 20, your next membership payment will be processed on October 20 and monthly thereafter.
If you join on or before the 29th of the month, you will be included in the following month’s mailing. If you join after the 29th, your first letter will be included in the next available monthly mailing cycle. In February, the last day of the month will serve as the monthly cutoff.
Your membership continues and your payment method will be charged automatically each month until you cancel.
Founding Members
Members who joined during the Founding Membership period at $12 per month will keep their $12 monthly Founding rate for as long as their membership remains continuously active.
If a Founding Membership is canceled and the member later rejoins, the membership will be subject to the price available at that time.
If we make a change to your membership price, we will provide notice as required by applicable law before the change takes effect.
Automatic Renewal and Cancellation
Tea Party Girls Club Membership automatically renews each month until canceled.
You may cancel your membership at any time through your online subscription portal. To avoid your next monthly charge, cancellation must be completed before your next scheduled renewal.
If you cancel after a renewal payment has already been processed, you will still receive the mailing associated with that payment, and your membership will not renew again.
Refunds
New members who subscribe by mistake may contact us within 48 hours of their initial purchase to request a refund and cancellation.
After 48 hours, initial membership payments are generally non-refundable because the upcoming mailing may already be in preparation.
Monthly renewal payments are non-refundable once processed.
If you believe you were charged incorrectly, please contact us and we will review the charge.
Additional information is available in our Return and Refund Policy.
Shipping
Tea Party Girls Club Membership currently ships within the United States.
Monthly mailings are sent through the United States Postal Service. Delivery times may vary, and we cannot guarantee arrival on a specific date.
Members are responsible for providing an accurate mailing address and keeping that address current.
If a mailing is returned or cannot be delivered because the address provided was incorrect or outdated, we cannot guarantee a complimentary replacement.
Member-Submitted Letters
Members may be invited to submit letters for consideration each month. Participation is completely optional, and submitting a letter does not guarantee that it will be selected.
By submitting a letter, you confirm that the writing is your own or that you otherwise have the legal right to submit it.
You retain ownership of your original writing.
By submitting a letter for consideration, you grant Tea Party Girls Club permission to reproduce, print, format, and distribute the letter to Tea Party Girls Club members if it is selected.
Tea Party Girls Club may make minor edits for spelling, grammar, formatting, length, clarity, or suitability for print while making reasonable efforts to preserve the meaning and voice of the writer.
We reserve the right to decline any submission that we determine is inappropriate for the club or its members.
Responding to Letter Writers
A selected letter writer may be given the option to share an email address so other members can respond to her letter.
Sharing contact information is completely optional.
If you choose to share an email address, you understand that it may be distributed to Tea Party Girls Club members and that members may use it to contact you directly.
Tea Party Girls Club cannot control or monitor private communications that occur outside our services.
Member contact information may not be used for spam, unsolicited marketing, harassment, data collection, or other inappropriate purposes.
Member Conduct
Tea Party Girls Club is intended to be a respectful community for women.
Members may not use the membership, letter submission process, or another member’s contact information to harass, threaten, discriminate against, solicit, spam, defraud, or otherwise harm another person.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate membership for conduct that we reasonably believe could harm Tea Party Girls Club, our members, or our community.
Intellectual Property
Tea Party Girls Club owns or licenses the branding, logos, graphics, recipe cards, photographs, website content, packaging designs, and other original materials created by Tea Party Girls Club.
Individual letter writers retain ownership of their original writing, subject to the permission granted to Tea Party Girls Club when submitting a letter.
Membership materials are provided for personal use and enjoyment. You may photograph, display, scrapbook, or personally share the materials you receive.
You may not reproduce, sell, license, republish, or use Tea Party Girls Club materials commercially without our written permission.
What We Do Not Guarantee
We do not guarantee a particular tea flavor, letter topic, writer, recipe, theme, letter length, or design in any given month.
We do not guarantee that a submitted letter will be selected.
We also cannot guarantee that another member will respond to your letter or that participating in Tea Party Girls Club will result in a friendship, business relationship, collaboration, introduction, or any other particular outcome.
Postal delays, severe weather, holidays, supply issues, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control may occasionally affect mailing or delivery schedules.
If a significant delay affects a monthly mailing, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate with affected members.
Failed Payments
If we are unable to process your recurring payment, we or our payment/subscription provider may attempt the payment again and may contact you to update your payment information.
Your membership and upcoming mailing may be paused if payment cannot be successfully processed.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate a membership when reasonably necessary, including for fraudulent activity, abuse, harassment, misuse of another member’s contact information, inappropriate submissions, repeated unwarranted chargebacks, or violations of these Terms.
Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as Tea Party Girls Club Membership evolves or as necessary to comply with applicable laws.
If a material change affects an active membership, we will provide notice when required by applicable law and update the “Last updated” date on this page.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
